So, I've been a bit busy this last week. A veritable convulsion of creativity has stopped me from posting anything yet, but I will try to be a bit more consistent next week.
Here's my progress so far...
I decided that my journal/idea book would have to be pimped this year, seeing that I am going to be running 2 blogs, with one dedicated solely to my harebrained craft efforts.
So I dug out an old piece of damask left over from tying a head scarf that looked something like this...
and I ended up not only covering the book, but I got a sweet new bookmark too! I love reading, and this way I will never lose my place again!
When I got tired of faffing around with my Uhu stick, I took an hour off to crochet this cap/snood/lacy beret from a pattern I got off crochetme.com.
And that's all my news for now.
P.S. I've decided the book looks much too nice to be used as an idea book, so I got another and will now use this as a...diary? Memory-keeper? Thing on top shelf I love to admire? Not sure yet.

This book of yours is stunning!!! I actually have something like that made with ankara that was given out as a souvenir. But yours is SOOOOO much nicer! You could actually make so much money refabricating journals and keep sakes. And I'm loving the bookmark! Wow! We need to talk!
